This thematic area focuses on strengthening awareness, understanding, and implementation of IGAD cross-border policies, protocols, and cooperation frameworks among governments, local authorities, civil society organizations, and communities.
PRBP supports dissemination and sensitization initiatives that enhance awareness on transboundary governance, animal health information sharing, informal cross-border trade, and regional cooperation frameworks to improve coordination and strengthen resilience within border regions.
